Why: one core has one controller and one credit pool: a signing core stops at 8.82M signatures/s however many field machines it gets (2,048 compress credits, each held ~47.6k cycles: 23.25 cycles per signature). Beyond that, the only way to turn more LUTs and DSPs into rate is a second core beside it.
